You start by unwrapping your very own kit, which includes my specially designed, hand-held loom. I will then guide you step by step to create your first purse fabric.

You learn to warp, add weft, use the tools, change yarn colour and finish your fabric. Then you Keep the Kit to weave more at home.

The workshops are for absolute beginners. Under 12 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. it runs on a Saturday morning at Gateshead Central Library.

During the two hours you learn the techniques required to weave with the hand held loom.
