Course Start DatesSaturday 25th January 2020
About the Course
During this session you will make your own spinner ring. You will practice first with copper and then move on to making a finished ring in silver. You can add 1, 2 or 3 rings to your wider band and you can use a combination of metals and textures. The example shown is a wide band with the inside polished to a high shine while the outside of the band has a matt finish. The 'spinners' are 2 thin rings, one silver and one brass for a contrasting colour. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with some prior knowledge.
All course are taught by myself, Lisa Taylor. I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher. I am a jewellery lecturer at a North west college in addition to running courses at The Cheshire School of Jewellery. I have a PGCE (Professional graduate certificate in education), B.A Hon's Degree in Applied Art and also a M.A in Art Practice.
