Simple silver ring making workshops-
This 2.5 hour session is a great starter workshop if you have never made jewellery before. You will cover all the skills needed to make your own simple sterling silver ring. There are several styles for you to choose from and students practice with copper first before moving onto silver, so by the end of the session you could also take away your copper sample if you finish both.
All course are taught by myself, Lisa Taylor. I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher. I am a jewellery lecturer at a North west college in addition to running courses at The Cheshire School of Jewellery. I have a PGCE (Professional graduate certificate in education), B.A Hon's Degree in Applied Art and also a M.A in Art Practice. I spent a number of years making beaded jewellery and have had designs published in several books and magazines. I also spent time studying silver clay jewellery and fashion design design.
