Students will continue to learn how to fabricate metal using a wide range of workshop tools to create beautiful and dynamic jewellery forms. Students will use soldering techniques in order to fabricate complex jewellery from multiple elements and finally will use stone setting techniques to complete their designs.

This is a workshop based course so you will be working at a workbench handcrafting objects of jewellery. You will use a wide variety of precision hand tools and more general machine tools.
You will use hand saws, files, drills, polishing motors, press formers, soldering blowtorches, acids, and the enamelling kiln plus a wide range of specialist tools. You will have the opportunity to design and create handmade craft jewellery in a fully equipped jewellery workshop
