About the Course

The Portland Bill photography workshop is all about visiting the best spots along Dorset's spectacular Jurassic coast on Portland. The coastline offers many photographic opportunities including great views of Osmington Mills Beach, Chesil beach, Portland Bill Lighthouse, and Pulpit Rock.

The Jurassic coast is one of the most stunning, varied and awe-inspiring stretches of coastline to be found anywhere in England. From perfect, crescent-shaped bays, rocky coves, boulder-strewn inlets and towering cliffs

The workshops are open to any level of photographer, I will talk you through the key elements for producing a great photo, composition, light, subject, and shutter speed.

At each location that we visit, I will help you be creative with your camera and understand the technical aspects of your camera, and how to use ISO, f-stops, and shutter speeds (exposure triangle), and histograms to produce a great photograph that you will want to keep.

So whether you are a complete beginner to photography or at a more advanced level, I believe that this six-hour landscape photography course in the Dorset coast will be of use to you.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
