Introduction to woodworking and DIY



This is an introduction to basic woodworking and home maintenance.The session is in two parts.
During the first session you will be introduced to basic drawings, a wide range of tools and equipment and different materials that are available for simple projects around the home. This will then lead on to demonstrations by the tutor on how to use tools and equipment. You will then have the opportunity to have a go yourself. As this is a demanding session there will be refreshments available throughout.
The second session will focus on how to do common DIY jobs around the home using new skills you learnt in the first session. These will include, fitting hinges, locks, drilling into different wall surfaces.etc.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
