A lovely introduction to willow sculpture for anyone wishing to make a couple of small items to decorate your home and garden.

A great way to connect with family and friends via a virtual workshop space.

Choose two items to make during this virtual workshop. Items include hearts, flowers, leaves, dragonflies, butterflies, bird feeders, bees and fish.

More suitable for adults- Fish tray, leaf platter and Catalan tension tray.

You will need to have good hand dexterity and strength.

The activity is suitable for adults, families and older children, if you wish to do the activity with younger children they will need assistance.

If you need the materials to be sent out quickly, please contact me before ordering it to check that I am available to send it to you. I will also need to know which two activities you wish to do so that I can send you the correct materials with a link to the online tutorial.

If you're not sure which will be the best to do please contact me in advance of ordering a kit.

If you wish to cancel your order and the kit has been sent out you must return the kit unused and at your own expense before the refund will be authorised.


What's included in the price?


I will send you the willow that you need to complete the project a document with instructions on how to prepare the willow in advance and a link to an online tutorial.

Please contact me to discuss the workshops that you wish to do, you will need a suitable space to soak and prepare the willow you can choose from.

Buff willow (stripped willow) which will take 2 days to prepare or brown (with bark) willow which will take 5 - 6 days to prepare.

What you will need


A computer or tablet with sound and access to watch the video via the internet.

A pair of secateurs or wire cutters / pliers to cut the willow and plenty of room to move around (it's easy to knock things over).

You will need somewhere to soak the willow e.g. a bath, old paddling pool, pond, makeshift container covered in plastic sheeting, water butt, etc.

A large round food can or rolling pin may will be useful for some of the workshop.

If you are using buff willow a water spray or sponge.

Some large towels/ or a cotton sheets.

A ruler.
