Introduction to willow sculpture online virtual workshops with Jacqueline Rolls


About the Course

Create a selection of items to decorate your home and garden, a lovely introduction to willow sculpture for anyone wishing to make a couple of small items. And a great way to connect with family and friends via a virtual workshop space.

PLEASE NOTE The workshops are for groups of at least 4 people and charged per person.

Choose 1 or 2 items to make during this workshop. Items include hearts and flowers dragonflies, butterflies, bird feeders, bees, fish, and more!

This is a great activity to do with friends or family and is a great online activity.
I provide the option for you to  take part in a willow activity either by  watching a  video tutorial which you can use at your own pace and can be used by individuals or groups  or a bookable zoom workshops that are suitable for small groups of 2-6 households

This workshop is available for 5 hr sessions as well

The online workshop is suitable for teenagers, adults, and children with adult support You will need to have good hand dexterity and strength.

What's included in the price?

What will I provide?

I will send you the willow that you need to complete the project and a document with instructions on how to prepare the willow in advance of the workshop as well as some hints and tips etc. Please note that the price is per person not per group.

If you have your own willow dried or fresh please contact me so that I can advise you if it is suitable and if it is how to prepare the materials,
If the materials you have are suitable I will charge a reduced fee for the workshop.
Please note that you will need to allow time for the willow to be delivered.

We will then arrange a date to meet for our virtual workshop.

What you will need

You will need
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone.

A pair of secateurs or wire cutters/ pliers to cut the willow and plenty of room to move around ( willow is long it's easier to knock things over)

You will need somewhere to soak the willow e.g. a bath, old paddling pool, pond, makeshift container covered in plastic sheeting etc. Some large towels/ or sheet.

Please note that additional charge may need to be paid towards postage depending on what you require.
