Description
In this relaxed Saturday morning craft workshop, expert knitting teacher and knitwear designer Suzanne Strachan will introduce you to a range of stranded knitting techniques, giving you the skills to create knitted garments with a variety of patterns, using more than one colour of yarn at a time. During the class, students will be taught several different techniques for stranded knitting in the round, including Fair Isle, Scandinavian and other traditional knitting styles. Attendees should be of an intermediate level in knitting and need to bring 2 balls of double knit or worsted weight yarn in contrasting colours and circular or double pointed needles relevant to the weight of yarn to work with. Tea, coffee and lots of homemade cake are included to help concentration! ‘fantastic course, very well taught, superb refreshments – will certainly be signing up for other courses’
