About the Course
On this 5 week course you will learn the essentials of making your own sterling silver and mixed metal jewellery.
By starting with the fundamental techniques as well as understanding the tools and stages of working with silver, even a beginner will be able to create a series of pieces that they can wear and gift with pride.
Each week you will learn a new aspect of making sterling silver jewellery and by the final day you will have gained enough knowledge to create your own designs with the methods learned.

Day 2: Personalised jewellery
Day 3: Rings
Day 4: Findings and wire designs
Day 5: Design your own piece
You can turn any of our courses into a short break by staying in our on site accommodation. When you book a residential package you will get discounted accommodation in our stylish boutique hostel located in the centre of Cirencester in the Cotswolds right next door to New Brewery Arts. Our former 19th Century Cotswold stone brewery barrel store has been beautifully transformed into 21st century accommodation, light and well-appointed with a craftsman’s attention to detail. We offer guest accommodation for up to 43 people over two floors in 14 rooms, with a choice of single, bunk, family and double bedrooms, 12 with en-suite facilities. A ground floor disabled-friendly room is also available. The hostel provides a stylish communal dining and relaxation area, self-catering kitchen, laundry facilities and lockers for your bike. As with all our courses and workshops these are led by experienced tutors and as you will be part of a small group there is plenty of time to focus on you.
