About the course
Join us for this Soap Making Workshop on the outskirts of the Historic Market Town of Beverley, in the East Riding Of Yorkshire.
Would you like to learn how to make your own soap using many natural products and beautiful fragrances?
This is a hands on workshop using the cold pressed method. You will learn the basic principles of soap making before experimenting with different fragrances and natural ingredients like lavender and poppy seeds.
You at will make at least two batches (around 12 bars) of your own unique made soap. You could use these for yourself or give them to loved ones as gifts.
This will be a fun and relaxed workshop with the opportunity to ask lots of questions. The day is structured to allow you to have a very hands on experience, this ensures that you leave with the skills to make your own soap again at home.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

Sharon’s informative and interesting approach made for a really enjoyable day.
We learned the basic soap making and then applied our own choice of colour and aroma from a wide choice.
Lovely lunch provided - It was a busy day and we had lots of soap to take home.
All round it was a good day.

Thank you Sharon, for a very interesting day.
Excellent venue, lovely lunch, and a great atmosphere, totally conducive to learning. I've just arrived home after an evening meal, and the house smells wonderful. I can't wait to slice my soap. I'm already looking forward to making my next batch of soap, and experimenting.
Thanks again, Christine.
