About the Course
On this Introduction to soap and skincare making with Jenny from The Scottish Soapworks, you will combine learning new skills with creating your own soap and skincare pack.
You will begin by learning about the properties of our organic glycerine soap, lip balms and creams. You will make moisturising, organic glycerine soap choosing from recipes such as calming lavender or invigorating lemon, lime and poppy seed. You will blend and pot a rich, carrot oil Vitamin C hand and body cream, plus make a beeswax and olive oil lip balm. All made with pure essential oils.
You will then gift wrap your soap and skincare products to create a personal pamper pack to take home.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All ingredients and materials are included in the price, plus welcome refreshments and a buffet style lunch. You will also have access to all the equipment you will need.
You are welcome to bring your own gift wrapping items if you would like to.
I recommend the venue and this workshop for a relaxing, congenial and productive day out. The presentation was relaxed and instructive and it was good to have finished items to take home, together with information regarding how to create the products at home and where to source the ingredients. The recipes and processes are set out in handouts provided for each attendee. The workshop is rewarding day out and a great gift for someone else as a present.
