Introduction to screen printing on fabric

Description

This workshop provides the perfect introduction to the art of screen printing onto fabric. We’ll cover the fundamentals of the printing process, from mono printing onto fabric and stencil preparation to mixing colours and layering with opaque and translucent inks, so you can begin to create your own beautiful printed pieces and continue your creative process. Taught by textile artists Sarah Pasricha and Amelia Tinton. Sarah Pasricha has been working as a textile artist in the film and TV industry for the past 15 years. Amelia Tinton has a background in Fine Art along with 3 years film and television experience Suitable for beginners. Course length: 4 Monday mornings , starting on the November 13th Course times: 9am - 1pm Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty Please bring lunch (there are also lots of cafes nearby).
