About the Course
8 week course of pottery evening classes - Tuesday or Wednesday evening 6.30 - 9pm.
On the Pottery Workshop course you will learn a variety of new skills that cover; hand building, throwing on the wheel, glazing and surface decoration. This course includes mixed levels and is a great opportunity to refresh existing skills or build up your confidence as a ceramicist.
Our workshops are equipped with specialist tools and equipment including wheels, spray equipment, a variety of kilns, clays, slips and glazes. We fire to earthenware and stoneware temperatures and stock basic materials which students can buy at cost price as required. There will be an additional studio fee to cover the cost of shared materials
Our experienced team of lecturers are all practicing, exhibiting ceramicists who also have professional teaching qualifications. They will give you plenty of support and you will benefit from learning within a friendly adult environment.

What's included in the price?
A studio fee of £5.00 is charged to pay for studio materials, tools, aprons and utensils used. All work is weighed and paid for separately, which covers the cost of the clay, glaze and two firings.
