About the Course

To know what suits you and wear it with style is a great skill and something that can be learned. This one day course will introduce you to the basic principles behind personal fashion styling. You will cover important aspects of proportion and the appropriate styles for your body shape and lifestyle. You will gain key insights and strategies to enable you to design a look for yourself and how to wear it with confidence. No previous experience of the subject is required.

By the end of the course you will be able to
Identify fashion styling techniques and to apply them to your own needs and lifestyle
Work to specific themes
Personalize the latest trends
Keep your look up to date regardless of body shape and size
Class format and activities
Teaching is both as a whole class and an individual, one-to-one basis using demonstrations, discussion, examples, handouts and other technical support material where appropriate. You will be able to negotiate learning goals together with the tutor. The course is a combination of both theory and practical work, individually, in pairs and in small groups.

Constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor will help you succeed during the class.
