Introduction to Pattern Grading



Thinking of starting your own Fashion business? An essential part of producing and manufacturing a collection is to produce a range for pattern sizes. Grading is the key; a very technical and skilled part of the process. This course introduces you to the basic skills of pattern grading and size ranging of patterns. To benefit from this course, you must have intermediate/advanced level pattern making skills.

What's included in the price?

You will be learning the skills to produce a multi sized pattern for a basic skirt, bodice with sleeves and trousers, using manual grading skills. Teaching is both as a whole class and individual, one to one basis using demonstrations, discuss, examples, samples, hand-outs and other technical support material where appropriate. In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
