About the Course

Join Sophie from Remoli Millinery for a creative introduction to the art of fascinator making. You'll learn some of the basic techniques and create a stunning personalised fascinator to wear with pride! This is a great class if you've always wanted to make your own wearable headpiece but not known where to start.

Each class will have a different theme, you can attend one workshop or attend them all for comprehensive tuition on a variety of styles! At each class you will come away with a finished piece in the theme of that particular workshop. Themes are as follows:
Roses and Leaves
Pansies and Feathers
Cala Lilies and Loops
Christmas Tree Fascinator

What the class will cover:
-Learn about the equipment, tools and materials needed
-Learn the basic key stitches used in millinery (sewing beginners welcome)
-Learn how to manipulate and work with sinamay fabric
-Learn some of the basic techniques for effective results
-How to securely assemble your work
-Embellish your finished piece

This class is suitable for adults only. Minimum age 16+

What you will need to bring:
- 0.5m each of stiffened sinamay in two different colours (fabric packs will be available on the day for £8pp)
- Any personalised beads/feathers that you want to add (these are not necessary, and could be added either during class or afterwards as time allows)
- Thimble if you like using one
