About the Course
Hello, and thank you for your interest in taking one of my weekend classes on how to make a traditional leaded glass window. I hold regular classes throughout the year from my purpose built studios in beautiful rural Leicestershire.
What is the course?
An Introduction to Leaded Glass designing & making.
Limelight Studios Ltd, Crown House, Main Street, Medbourne, Leicestershire LE16 8DT
About the course.
This is a relaxed and fun introduction to learning all the skills you will need to design and make your very own A4 size coloured leaded window 21 x 29cm. Students can choose from a selection of designs, learn how to create a full size design on paper, how to identify and choose the different types of glass available, how to cut the glass to shape, how to prepare a window to be leaded together, how to work with lead and solder, how to use a soldering iron, and how to weather proof the final panel. There will be lots of advice and demonstrations to help each student make their panel by the end of the weekend.
Please note, this course is NOT suitable if you are pregnant or breast feeding
