About the Course
On this introductory workshop with local artist Nichole Fernández, you will begin by learning the four basic knots of macramé.
Having mastered those, Nichole will take you through the steps necessary to create your own plant hanger including how to plan a pattern, measure the correct amount of rope, set up and finish off the project.
You will come away with enough knowledge to create your own macramé wallhangings or plant hangers at home, along with an understanding of the different ropes/cords used in macramé. And Nichole will teach you how to navigate the confusing technical world of rope so you can purchase your own.
You will design and create a macramé wall-hanging plant hanger ready to take home to hang on your wall.
Please note that The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor space and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Please inform us of any skin or food allergies when booking.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All the equipment you will need is provided, and all materials and refreshments are included in the price. And of course you will take home the beautiful wall-hanging plant holder, complete with potted plant, that you have created.
