About the Course
If you have heard of the very addictive technique of free motion machine embroidery ( where you draw with your sewing machine needle ) and have always fancied having a go, then this one day workshop will introduce you to the basics of the technique.
You will learn how to set up and control your sewing machine for free motion sewing. Then you will have plenty of opportunity to practice the technique producing an abstract piece of work where there is no right or wrong. I will then move on to using the technique with appliqué and also writing in thread.
I'm sure you will surprise yourself what you can achieve.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What an amazing inspirational course! Alison is very clear, patient and encouraging in her teaching and made this introduction course a complete pleasure to attend. Fun, relaxed and informative and I learned loads including those hard to find tips and secrets gained only through experience and which Alison was so happy to share. She is an attentive teacher and is flexible and creative in her teaching style. I will be back for more and TOTALLY recommend!
