About the Course

The course price includes 6 hours of guided tuition, use of the looms and all materials including yarns and a selection of fibres including organic cotton, bamboo, flax and hemp.

You will be given your own clear workshop handouts to take away with you.

The workshop will teach you the basic principles and terminology of weaving and you will create a small woven piece using a frame loom.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those that have a little experience and would like a refresher.

You will have the opportunity to buy your loom at the the end of the workshop for £20.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the session. Please bring your own lunch or feel free to buy some from the local delis and cafes we have within 2 minutes walk of the shop. Please be aware that the lunch break is included in your weaving time.

Spaces are limited to ensure you receive as much guidance as you need so we shall have a maximum number of 6 students per session.

Please note that places on our workshops are non-refundable but are transferable to a friend. We automatically send out a voucher as part of the booking process so it makes a great gift for someone too! See images for a picture of one.
