My Background -
I have been in the bridal industry for the past 6 years working for one of Britain's biggest bridal designers. Since going self employed and trying to start up my own dressmaking business I have taken upon the opportunity to teach several evening classes at a well known college in Somerset. I have now decided to offer a more personal one to one class based at my workshop where you will get 100% of my attention.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
You will need to bring a sewing machine each week. If you don't have access to a sewing machine i can provide one however I would recommend in purchasing one asap for your own personal home use. You will be expected to provide your own materials and threads for your garments.
I do provide all the equipment you will need i.e. (Scissors, pens, pencils, chalk, pins, tape measures, mannequins (I only have certain sizes), paper, patterns etc...)
I mentioned I can provide ready made patterns, however I would encourage you to buy your own as i may not have them in a certain size or something you would like to wear.
There will be refreshments available such as Tea/Coffee and plenty of biscuits. If you have any dietary requirements please let me know and I can sort something out for you to enjoy :).
Unfortunately I don't have any bathroom facilities in my workshop, so if you really need to use the bathroom you'll have to use the main house bathroom.
Course dates are flexible; please get in touch for the next available date.
