INTRODUCTION TO BONE CHINA WORKSHOP

Description

A one on one introduction to casting and decorating bone china. Create a collection of vessels using various decoration techniques that emphasise the material’s translucency.

The workshop will include the following:
• How to slipcast - A demonstration
• Casting techniques in a drop out mould
• Decoration techniques on pre-cast shapes
• How to fire - An introduction to the firing stages

Saturdays from 10am - 3pm
