About the Course
A basic introduction to beekeeping including a hands on session with live honeybees. We will look at honey bees needs as well of those of the beekeepers, including where to site hives.
Sessions are a mixture of powerpoint and practicals with a mock up hive. By the end of the course you will have the underpinning knowledge to run your own colony and know some of the legal requirements around bees and honey products.
