Experiment with vintage fabric. A wonderful opportunity to try a whole variety of experimental textile techniques! We will work our way through the basics of applique, machine embroidery, collage, 'no rules' patchwork and needle felting...but with silk not wool! Lots of fun, lots of demos, then a chance to play, using a wonderful selection of vintage and reclaimed textiles. Suitable for complete beginners and anyone who wants to kick start their creativity!
Textile designer Jayne Emerson has a wealth of experience selling her designs to clients such as Chanel and Calvin Klein, she is also the author of 6 craft books. Jayne has a treasure trove of vintage and up-cycled fabrics that she will bring with her for all to use at the workshop.
