About the Course
The day will cover the following elements:
- Clay preparation
- Centring the clay
- Throwing cylinders with the aim of producing forms of even thickness.
- Developing more advanced forms ( Jugs and lidded vessels)
- Wiring pots off the wheel
The course is aimed at individuals who have either completed the one day throwing course. People who attend this course should be able to centre the clay and throw cylinders of even thickness.
There is a maximum of two places available to book for this course per workshop, giving the opportunity for really focused tuition. If booking for one person you have the option to bring someone with you to observe.

We are based near the historic Trentham Gardens where there is a Premier inn within walking distance. There is also a travelodge which is also within walking distance at the Trentham Hotel if you require accommodation and wish to visit the area whilst here.

What's included in the price?
