About the Course
Warp-speed your knitting skills in this one-day workshop for intermediate-level knitters. You’ll learn to knit a gorgeous pair of mittens over the course of 6 hours.
-Build upon the knowledge learned in our Beginner’s Class and progress to more challenging knitting skills
-Learn more complex knit structures and techniques for hand knitting, which include lace, cables and aran knitting, fair isle and intarsia
-Learn to work from charts, tension swatches and read patterns
-Learn to work in a round with double pointed and circular needles
At the end of the workshop, you’ll be on your way to completing your mittens, have a greater knowledge of more complex stitches and structures and how to apply them.
You’ll be able to develop and produce swatches of the stitches you’ve learned, have the confidence to work on more complex projects and experiment with new ideas.
