About the Course
Would you like to take your crochet to the next level? Have you something you would love to make? We have a series of classes that could be just for you.
Perfect for those with basic crochet knowledge or those of you that have come along to the beginners crochet classes here at Granary Crafts.
We are lucky to have Jo Harrison as our crochet tutor. If you have not met her already, knitting is Jo's first love but she is equally adept at crochet or anything woolly! Jo is a freelance knitwear designer of both men's and women's wear for designer brands around the world. She is an experienced crochet tutor and has taught many to crochet including family and friends and she also volunteers at a local craft group teaching there.
Our workshops are small, the maximum number in the class will be 6 adults, so all will get the one-to-one tuition you need.
Class one will cover:
Crochet stitches - shell stitch and chevron, shaping, increase and decrease, understanding crochet patterns, choosing yarn and hooks for future projects
Class two will cover:
Crochet stitches—lace and puff stitch, Granny squares, colour change and joining squares for blankets, sewing up and finishing off
