About the Course
A substantial two-day per week course for students wishing to explore the vast subject of Interior Design and prepare a portfolio of work for entry into more advanced courses.
Through a series of challenging projects, you will learn to create successful designs and exciting styling solutions both for domestic spaces. You will learn to work to a brief, to survey and plan a space, to produce technical and free-hand drawings, to select appropriate colours and materials and produce mood boards and sample boards. Research and cultural or historical studies will underpin each project. Level 1 Interior Design or some experience in visual studies is preferable, but we are looking for students with a strong commitment to study and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
