About the Course
Learn to assess the requirements of an interior space to select and place light fittings to support the function of the room, in relation to the general styling of the room using accessories. Saturday showroom visit on July 04.
By the end of the course you will be able to
Understand the 3 types of lighting and their purpose both aesthetically and functionally.
Select a range of fixtures that are appropriate to a setting.
Select appropriate themes and locations for accessories within an interior.
Plan accessories that suit the interior and reflect upon the personalities of the occupants.
Class format and activities
This is a fun and interactive class where students work together to explore and understand how to complete a room through lighting and accessory selection.
In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
Good written and spoken English. Good mobility for Saturday day out in London showrooms. An interest in interior design!
