About the Course

This 2-day art course is for parents/carers and their children, and we'll prioritise those living in Hertfordshire.

Following a recent stay in Jaipur, where she had been invited to be artist in residence for a mixed media holiday, we asked our tutor Paula Watkins to run an Indian-themed family art course at CLP. And so our Indian elephant course for families was born!

You will learn how to create art journal pages, block print, make artist trading cards and a 2D stitched felt elephant. Our first course was a runaway success, and we're looking forward to our second one during half-term.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

This course is very heavily-subsidised by Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS) so the cost is just £10.00 per family. This includes:

* Tuition
* Generous amounts of high-quality resources
* Refreshments

Families will need to bring their own packed lunches, and wear old clothes or an apron.
