Gilded Letter Workshop only (no materials kit)
Description
Enjoy learning the skills of applying gold leaf with exquisite effect and painting with gouache using a fine brush to create your own illuminated initial.
You'll be carefully guided through the process of tracing down, gilding, decorating and detailing to produce a beautifully finished handmade letter.
We will be working on letters from a Renaissance alphabet known as White Vine.
Suitable for all levels of ability.
The workshop will be live online via Zoom in two 2-hour sessions with an hour's lunch break.
• The morning runs from 10am to noon
• The afternoon runs from 1pm to 3pm
• A further 30-minute session for questions and sharing will round off the day
This option is for the workshop only, with no materials kit included. It is offered to those who have materials and tools already or wish to buy their own. [The workshop including materials kit is also available on Craft Courses]

This course requires you to download the free Zoom app. A link to join the class will be sent near the date.
Video recordings of the sessions will be made available to download for a limited time.
