About the Course
Learn the traditional art of hedgelaying!
Learn how to correctly lay hedges to create natural boundaries and protect flora and fauna. This course will cover everything you need to know and equip you with the skills and techniques you will need to succesfully complete a section of hedge. No experience required as this course is designed for beginners and refreshers wanting to learn and hone in their skills, as well as those who just want to practice skills already learnt.
This is a two day course, however, if you are unable to attend both days feel free to just attend one.
This course is free for volunteers and is subsidised by The Land Trust.
If you are wishing to attend and you are not a volunteer, there will be a charge of £30. This is payable on the day - more clarification on this is available after securing your space. When booking please select the 'other' ticket option.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Under 16s are welcome with a parent/guardian. However, please let the course organisers know prior to the event.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is ample free parking available at Bentley Community Woodland.

What's included in the price?
All tools and protective equipment will be provided by trained leaders on the day.
Refreshments (tea, coffee and the all important biscuits) will be provided on the day but please do bring a packed lunch with you.
