About the Course

Learn to weave on a table loom or rigid heddle loom. Tuition from a hand weaver and teacher with over 25 years of weaving experience. Courses can be tailor-made to suit the individual, whether you want to start from designing, planning and setting up the loom or weaving on a loom that has been prepared for your use in advance. Learn about the different types and qualities of weaving yarns, a range of techniques to produce various textures and structures, or weave a single item such as a baby wrap or table linen over a number of sessions.
Tuition takes place in my well-equipped weaving shed at my home.

Want to review this course?

I always thought I would like to weave, so when I retired from work I put my mind to doing just that. That's when I found Jane! She guided me through all the stages of warping up a loom to actually weaving a length of fabric. Her encouragement and commitment gave me a lot of confidence. I can now say ' I am a weaver' and it's all down to Jane.
