About the Course
Join us for a pair of Sunday Workshops inspired by the textile traditions of India. The workshops will introduce you to Shisha Mirror Embroidery and Kantha Quilting, and you'll start a small bags or panel featuring each technique.
Kantha Quilting is decorative hand quilting using running stitch and embroidery stitches - excellent for beginners. You'll have the choice of 3 designs to work - Peacock, Elephant or Tiger
Shisha mirrors are traditionally used to decorate clothing and textiles and make a pretty - and shiny - embroidery feature. You'll have the choice of 3 designs to work, or you can create your own design if you prefer.
The course is run by Tara from Mistress of Stitch.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
