Looking for bonding experiences with your child or grandchild over the summer holidays? Build their self-esteem, confidence and dexterity, while weaving a birdfeeder, flower, or dragonfly and learning about tools and responsibility. It’s exciting and fun!
Weaving with natural materials while at ease in the countryside develops a deep bond and creates lasting memories. Take friends and blow off steam along with other kids in adventurous woods, with birds, ponies and chickens around you. Breath in the smells and take in the sounds. Enjoy the sense of freedom that nature provides you both with.
What will they learn?
– Use tools in a responsible way, while practising and developing their skills;
– Develop dexterity;
– Skills for life!
The excitement of using tools that your (grand)child may not be familiar with and their managing that fear within a safe environment has an enormously positive effect on their self-esteem and confidence.
These half-day courses are £50, are held at a forest school and will need to be accompanied by one adult per child or group of four children, dependent on the age of the children.
Please contact me prior to booking, if you feel your course may need to be tweaked to your (grand)child’s abilities.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
What will be include?
– All materials and use of tools; and
– Drinks, and cakes and fruit for when we get peckish.
