Join us for our informative and easy to follow Guide to Wedding Flowers workshop with “The Little Potting Shed”.
This class is ideal for someone getting married/planning a wedding/wanting to learn how to do their own wedding flowers.
The unique and beautiful style that is reflected in the stunning arrangements are taught in this step by step one day workshop. You will learn the skills to create unique floral displays for your special day. No experience is necessary as ‘The Little Potting Shed’ tutor will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.
The Workshop in detail
This workshop includes a talk on flower seasonality and note taking as to what to think about when deciding on your wedding flowers (i.e. timings, size/number and shape of arrangements, colours and themes, how to re-use florals, etc). You will learn how to do a buttonhole/corsage. After lunch you will learn how to create a simple but elegant wedding table design using a log slice and trio of vases with tealights and moss (all to be taken home at the end of the workshop).
We allow plenty of time for our creative students to prepare their floral arrangements and provide everything you need to create your work. Seasonal treats, home bakes and refreshments as well as a delicious lunch will be served as part of the day.
Experience Level
We welcome all levels of expertise from beginner to the accomplished.

I attended this workshop in July and the venue is fabulous, beautiful gardens & staff are so welcoming. Loved the fabrics & relaxing atmosphere. Food was delicious and I would definitely recommend. Jill the tutor was really helpful and full of handy hints.
