Duration: One day
at Patricia Lee - All That Glass - Glass Art and Mosaic
About the Course
In April 2019 Patricia's glass mosaic, Everything, was selected as the winning piece on BBC1 Home Is Where The Art Is (episode 3), hosted by the lovely Nick Knowles.
Patricia is known for her unique style of work - a blend of glass fusing techniques with beautiful reflective glass mosaic.
For the very first time, Patricia will share her techniques on this one-day workshop.
Spend a day in Patricia's studio with like-minded people exploring the many exciting possibilities of working with glass to make your own unique glass art.
Patricia's friendly and relaxed teaching style and small group sizes mean that you can work at your own pace and explore new ideas for working with glass.
You will learn how to cut glass safely and explore the techniques that Patricia uses and then put them into practice to create your own beautiful glass mosaic.
A wide selection of glass will be available for you to work with including reflective glass, art glass, vitreous glass and fused glass. The fused glass will be pre-fired and Patricia will guide you through the processes used to create them.
The course takes place in the artist's studio in Cheshire and includes all materials and tools required for the day - plus a delicious home-made lunch.

I attended several of Pauline workshops. I found that all of them were delivered in a logical and professional manner. Pauline did give the small group (all her workshops were limited to 6 places) some historical and technical information prior to the commencement of the practical element of the courses. Pauline created a friendly environment and was always on hand to offer help and advice. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and I came away feeling that I had gained valuable knowledge and the inspiration to commence some projects on my own and I highly recommended any of Pauline courses

Pauline is an excellent tutor and takes time to explain each step of the process in a clear and logical way. Pauline is on hand to offer inspiration and practical advice throughout the day. Her workshops only have between 4 to 6 students, which allows this personal interaction.

Patricia is a great teacher. I attended the mosaics course and produced a a mosaic that I was really pleased with. The key things about Patricia's courses are that the materials she provides for you to use are really good quality; she explains things clearly and is very supportive as you work through the day; you have a finished product and the atmosphere is very positive but also fun. It sounds corny but this is really helped by the lovely hospitality - the lunch and refreshments are beautifully presented and tasty and make you feel very welcomed and comfortable. I would recommend these courses to anyone.
