About the Course
On this one day mosaic workshop you will learn how to design and build your own mosaic using a mixture of reclaimed glass and mosaic tiles.
There are a range of designs to choose from, but you are welcome to bring your own ideas.

Using a mixture of reclaimed glass and mosaic tiles, you will design and make a single or several pieces of your choice with guidance from your tutor, Kelly Goode
Participants will receive practical tuition in the basics of designing a mosaic piece, cutting glass and tiles safely, how to place the tiles to create different effects, and grouting and cleaning your mosaic. By the end of the day you will have a coaster and a pot stand/ trivet to take home, plus some grout for finishing if necessary. We will be offering a range of different projects for beginners soon, including some more advanced projects for extending your skills!

What's included in the price?
All materials and tools are included in the cost of this course. Tea, coffee and cake available throughout the day. We only have small groups - up to 6 people which means Kelly can give you plenty of attention. A lovely selection of coloured glass to select from.
Please bring a packed lunch - fridge and microwave available in the Studio. If the sun is shining then we often sit out in the Garden for lunch.
