Learn further glass fusing skills in this new 6 week course. Gain a greater understanding of the possibilities of fusing.
Are you ready to find out a bit more? Over the course of the 6 weeks we will delve further into the possibilities of glass fusing. Looking at different ways to fuse glass together to create a range of outcomes. You will improve your cutting skills, so you can cut shapes to fit your own designs. How we can get rid of using a sheet of glass and make pieces without a background. As well as ways to uses strips of glass to create some really beautiful patterns.
Once you have learnt these techniques you’ll be able to progress to creating your own designs with the glass, and move on to making more intricate pieces, and even your own blanks to form into bowls, or other forms.
What can I do after the course? With your new found skills, you will also have enough of an understanding to be able to go it alone, however this can be quite a big step investing in your own equipment, so why not join glass club to realise your own projects with likeminded others and the use of my equipment.
Tuition, most materials (enough to complete the course, but upgrade options available) shared firings, tea, coffee and homemade biscuits are included.
Each week you will make pieces that will be ready to see the following week. At the end of the course we will complete a project over the final 2 sessions, these will be ready to collect via arrangement or posted for P&P.
