About the Course
On this workshop you will have an introduction to Glass Bead Making (also known as lampwork). Glass artist Sarah Cordingley will take you through health and safety and demonstrate some basic bead making techniques including spots, twists and use of glass frits. Its then over to you to have a go yourself. As part of a small friendly group of 5, you will get plenty of help from Sarah.
Your beads will be annealed in the kiln over night and then will be available for you to collect the following week. We can post your beads to you for a small extra charge of £5. Torch time is available at an hourly rate once you've graduated!
