Description
Incorporating traditional and contemporary ideas from leaded panels to fused glass art. CStar Designs handmake all their beautiful glass pieces from their Hampshire Based Workshop. They create glass art, gifts and original jewellery, art pieces and unique commissioned works. Based on your knowledge of glass and materials which you will have attained from the beginners courses, you will be designing and creating larger pieces all with a clear glass base. The designing and final piece will be your own creations and can be any theme or design you like! What will you learn? An introduction to glass paints How to make your own papers How to add details and wording How to add extra layers to your glass Please note All materials will be explained when needed and Cathy will be available to guide and help, no cutting of the glass will be involved. During each session, you will create a different item which will be taken away, fired by CStar Designs and returned to The Dart Centre for collection.

Maker
The Dart is a community venue for all ages who wish to engage with arts, crafts and music. Our centre-run courses are led by professional practitioners or artists in hour long, half or full day workshops, including children’s holiday activities and cookery courses. We encourage local artists to exhibit in our foyer, sell work or perform at open mic nights. The Dart boasts specialist rooms for dance, drama, art and music which are available for hire throughout the evenings and weekends.
