Give your gifts the wow factor by learning how to gift wrap.
Participants will learn how to gift wrap two different styles of box, bottles/cylinders and soft items, such as clothing. A selection of different materials will be used, such as paper, tissue, cellophane, webbing and high quality cotton paper. Selected soft ribbons will be used to make bows and decorate the gifts using a variety of techniques. Interactive discussion is encouraged throughout the session with suggested solutions for a variety of gift wrapping challenges.
All abilities welcome!
You can turn any of our courses into a short break by staying in our on site accommodation. When you book a residential package you will get discounted accommodation in our stylish boutique hostel located in the centre of Cirencester in the Cotswolds right next door to New Brewery Arts. Our former 19th Century Cotswold stone brewery barrel store has been beautifully transformed into 21st century accommodation, light and well-appointed with a craftsman’s attention to detail. We offer guest accommodation for up to 43 people over two floors in 14 rooms, with a choice of single, bunk, family and double bedrooms, 12 with en-suite facilities. A ground floor disabled-friendly room is also available. The hostel provides a stylish communal dining and relaxation area, self-catering kitchen, laundry facilities and lockers for your bike. As with all our courses and workshops these are led by experienced tutors and as you will be part of a small group there is plenty of time to focus on you.
