About the Course

During this class you will learn you how to hand knit your very own snuggly, giant knit blanket. Using just your hands you'll learn to cast on and knit your blanket, and cast off using just your hands. You'll then learn how to felt in the ends to finish your blanket. By the end of the lesson you will come away with small blanket (roughly: 100x70cm).

All materials will be supplied on the day. Natural un-dyed wool will be provided as standard. You can upgrade to a colour of your choice for an additional £10. Please note the wool used in this class comes from fully certified farms, meaning it is sheep friendly. We use wool in these blankets as it is a sustainable, renewable and biodegradable material that has some brilliant properties that keep it clean and odour free. However, we understand that wool is not suitable for everyone, if you are vegan, have wool allergies, or you would prefer to use a man made material, please get in touch so we can source an alternative for you.
