Often we need practical help with a sewing machine project, theory and written instructions are sometimes hard to visualise. Practical workshops are aimed at helping and guiding students to accomplish their aims in working on a project to produce a professional finish.
Areas of to help could include understanding a pattern, working with difficult fabrics, construction and a variety sewing techniques. Ranging from seam and hem finishes, applying zips and many other sewing skills.
The choice is up to you the student, a couple of days spent gaining confidence in a practical environment in the areas where skills need to be developed. Please bring along a project of your own choice.
This course is aimed at students who enjoy sewing, who feel they need to develop more professional techniques, suitable for both beginners or the more advanced sewer.
You will need to bring your sewing machine to the course.
