About the Course
This five-day course is ideal for those who appreciate spending time in gardens and enjoy photography. We will immerse ourselves amongst late summer flowers and veg: dahlias, cosmos, rudbeckia, asters, verbena, tomatoes, chillies and early autumn berries. Most of the time will be spent taking pictures in and around Flatford Mill, Helmingham Hall and other local gardens. We will explore a range of photographic styles from general vistas right through to close ups. We will look at the horticultural details and consider the abstract potential of individual plants. The emphasis of the course is about composition and lighting rather than post-image manipulation. It is suitable for those who have a digital SLR or advanced compact camera.
Bring a friend!
If you are attending a course at Flatford Mill at the sole occupancy price, we are offering a special rate for a friend or partner not enrolled on the course to also stay at £50 per night for dinner, bed and breakfast.
