I signed up for this workshop because I buy a lot of candles and thought it might be fun to try making my own for a change. It was such a good decision - Sally is the perfect tutor and makes the workshop a truly creative and informative occasion. I would recommend it for anyone who fancies trying something a little "crafty" - no previous experience required! I came home with three gorgeous smelling candles, one in my own cup and saucer which I am thrilled to display in my bathroom.
My partner and I attended Sally's brilliant course on candle making using containers. Sally is an excellent tutor. She covered all aspects of candle making from health and safety, materials needed, adding colour and fragrances and the processes. The session was informal giving everyone the opportunity to experiment and ask questions. Sally makes everyone feel relaxed and able to achieve. After the session Sally follows this up with an email providing information on our learning experience as well as links to information for buying resources. A great session. Many thanks Sally.
Sally is a great teacher. Her preparation for the course was very thorough. She gave me great notes for reference and lots of sensible, practical advice. She is planning a soap making course which I will certainly make sure to attend.
