Course Start DatesSaturday 1st February 2020
About the Course
If you've done some glass fusing before and know the basics, then our Further Fusing Workshops are for you. Enjoy learning a new technique or just come and 'play'. Unleash your inner creative and make your own gorgeous glass.
Class sizes are small which means a good student to teacher ratio.
Specific dates available or contact us for an exclusive or bespoke workshop for a group of three or more!
We also run full day and longer workshops, see our website for details.
If you are a beginner, we have workshops for you too, see our other listings.
We will cover:
•Reminder - safety, tools & equipment.
•Practice cutting if you need it.
•Design ideas & techniques; how to make it!
During your half day workshop, you will create at least one large project (a dish or free standing form) or several smaller pieces if you prefer. What you make will be your choice, as will the detail which you wish to apply. I will guide and advise throughout so that you to get the most from your workshop.
Your projects will be fired (fused and slumped) over the following 2 weeks, ready for collection or posting - which is charged at cost.
Your 'tutor' is Jill Bagnall artist/maker at Fusing Ideas Glass. Jill is a member of both Shropshire & Worcestershire Guilds of Contemporary Craft as well as the Contemporary Glass Society.
Come and recharge your batteries at a creative workshop while making your own beautiful art glass. But beware! As Jill says "glass is a seductive material, you could find yourself hooked"!
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
