Fused Glass with Elisa Mott



A weekend course for up to 6 participants.

Learn the basics in Glass Fusion on this fun packed beginners weekend.
You will learn how to cut and assemble glass to create 2 beautiful coasters and a colourful panel or hanging piece.

We will cover a range of techniques using Bullseye art glass.

These will include
-Learning 2 different types of fusing (smooth and textured).
-Using decorative accessory glass – frit, confetti and stringers.
-How to create metal inclusions using copper.

This will give you the perfect introduction to the wonderful craft of fusing glass.

About the Tutor

Elisa Mott is an artisan maker of glass jewellery, homeware gifts and art using the techniques of kiln forming glass and lampworking.

With a unique jewellery range that is distinctive, colourful and eye catching. Creating quality homeware collections and art pieces will energize your style and bring a striking focus to your living spaces. Elisa works from The Maker’s Guild in Portsmouth. This is a collective of makers and inventors in an open workshop area based in Portsmouth Guildhall.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
