About the Course

A 2 day introductory course in fused glass jewellery making. (aboard our NARROWBOAT ‘The Glass Barge’) taught by Andy & Pam Kallender. No prior experience necessary.

Students will design, make and mount several pieces of jewellery over the 2 days, using transparent, opalescent and dichroic glass. Pieces made on the first day will be fired over night and be ready to wear at the end of the course. Day 2 pieces will need to be collected later or we will send on by post after firing.

Courses are run at different locations throughout the year.

What's included in the price?

• Materials included in course fees to make and mount several finished pieces of jewellery
• Tea and coffee will be provided during the sessions.
• Lunch will be available for the students to purchase in the locality or will be provided by us, at a minimal cost if there are no local facilities.
• Students will be expected to arrange their own overnight accommodation if required
